Purpose

This OWL has been designed for two purposes:

 to assist graduate students who need help in mastering basic elements in Standard English Usage.

 to assist graduate students in learning how to prepare documents needed in their professional careers.

In addition to the OWL, the Graduate Writing Project will host workshops that focus on writing.  Notices hese workshop can be found on the Graduate Writing Project home page:
