Sarah C Spring

CPSC 689

"Computers and New Media" offers me an opportunity to explore the technical aspects of what I had previously considered to be a humanities topic. Additionally, as a teacher in a computer composition classroom, it is important that I wrestle with the very concerns addressed by this course: effect of computers on reading and belief of information, and computers and argumentation. A better understanding of how computers impact the learning process of my students will ultimately allow me to approach my teaching, as well as my own research, in a new, productive way.
